Contacts lenses are now a possibility for those with all types of refractions. Those with astigmatism, abnormal corneas, or even those with dry eyes may be able to find lenses to fit them. It is important to see an optometrist to make sure the contacts you choose are the best fit and therefore the most comfortable.
For each type of person, there is a contact lens. Choose extended wear lenses you can wear all week or daily wear contacts which are removed each night. You also have the option of disposable lenses or reuseable lenses. Disposable lenses need to be discarded and replaced daily, every two weeks or monthly depending on the brand. Reusable lenses can last for six months or more. Choose the lenses that best fit your routine.
